The sites described on this page have been selected to show some of the diverse elements that CGI Foundry can bring to a web site:
Virtually all pages on this site are generated by our C++ and MySQL technology. Different individuals have the responsibility for different pages, each logging in to contribute or approve articles. Those articles appear in the public portion of the web site, which formats the headlines, bylines, the text body, optional links, graphics and captions; it then sequences the articles for a given page by priority, alternating them in a right-left format. Each article has its own expiration date, and disappears automatically when that date expires. Special CGI features include a straw poll and event calendar.
The patriotic colors used on the site were derived from the official "elephant" logo. Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady was used to build the roll-overs.
Mainly comprised of static pages, this site features some JavaScript and Flash. It's database content includes a user-maintained directory of well over 1000 home churches and a several self-test study examinations. The site was otherwise built with hand-coded HTML.
The logo for this site originated from the Sunday bulletin. The calendar and Pastor's Letter are maintained by staff using password-protected log on.
